organising must haves
People often ask me what are your top organising products, and although I have an Amazon shop front I thought it would be good to give you my top 10 products with a little explanation of why! Remember be creative, just because an item says it may be used in the kitchen you can usually use it all around the house. As with every recommendation I make, please do check the measurements of your space to ensure these products will fit.
Any organised home needs some drawer dividers! Whether it’s organising snacks in the kitchen or dividing up clothes, drawer dividers are an easy way to keep things categorized and often end up giving you more space!
Making use of shelves is so integral, and lazy susans can help you see all your items - from perfume to oils and cleaning products - this is such a useful product! There are large ones for bigger items such as laundry, medium ones for under the sink and small ones for oils and even double ones for perfume - pick one to best suit you.
Drawer inserts - these inserts usually come in packs with varying quantities and they can be used to organiser bedside tables, bits & bobs drawers or even to organise kitchen utensils!
Shelf stackers - usually used in the kitchen for tins, spices or spreads but I have been known to use these for storing vitamins in bathrooms or perfumes in bedrooms too!
Shelf dividers are so useful for keeping clothes, books and even gift cards and playrooms in order. Use them to help prop items up or to divide your things into categories; they are super useful.
I use baskets for almost every client, whether its storing summer clothes on top shelves of wardrobes, getting a larder organised or making sure a boot room is in tip top shape. There are so many different looks and sizes but here are my top 3! I love these for wardrobes, these for kitchens and these for playrooms.
clear containers is another must have item. Sometimes you need to be able to see the items, whether its toys, food, toiletries or cleaning materials these are very useful, easy to clean and stackable, .
I use containers and jars for a lot of my kitchen clients, and often get asked what are my favourite products. I love these plastic containers which come in small, medium, large, tall & cereal size. If you are more into glass, this set is a great starter option.
Organising shoes is one of the top items I get asked about and this system I have used so many times, its easy to build and keeps the dust off!
My final tip is probably the easiest, cheapest way to stay organised. Hooks on the back of the door can be used for coats, dressing gowns, bags, cooking aprons and so on; keeping often bulky items off the floor or to stop them from taking up so much space in wardrobes or cupboards!
